Indeed, human egocentrica mammalia loves his 'civilization.' Even though it has extracted from his mind any semblance of authentic existence, he wouldn't have it any other way than to be "civilized." Joy and wonder are not necessary, when civilization provides automobiles, HD TV's and toilets.
the strangest thing is happening, i have a job, and i know i should be grateful, but i just can't help feeling a strong desire to swerve into oncoming traffic most mornings on my way in! most peculiar, don't you think??

DeleteYep. Been there done that. Self-annihilation lasted many yrs, as I recall.
